Has anyone ever used the travel webiste orbitz or cheaptickets?

I work for both and i just want to know what all of you all think about it?...it can be pretty frustrating sometimes...trust me i know..im on it everyday..but overall both the websites do have some of the lowest prices.

I have. I have found the best bet is to "window shop" on Orbitz or Cheaptickets. When I find the best deal for my departure and destination, I go to that airlines site and buy directly from them.

Very funny, I used Orbitz a couple times several years ago and were OK. But regarding fare,today..it is not the same than it used to be.

They fares are basically published fares, so no real discouted fare and have a limited number of seats.

Cheapticket is also a consolidator and have limited "cheap" seat on certain routes.

If you use a real travel agency in town, talking with real people, 90% of the time they will match or beat Orbitz and Cheaptickets, including the agency fees.

So, today it is not a big deal using internet agencies like five to 7 years ago when it all started.

and btw, booking thru an internet agency, you have to pay immediately and NO REFUNDS...with the non-internet agencies you still have 24 hrs for changing your mind, and zero cost and obviously a lot more flexibility and proper advice.

I personally like Cheaptickets. I've always gotten great fares from them.

I find that the website listed below usually has lower airfares, hotels, cars and cruises and vacations too.

Check it out!

I have you used cheaptickets a couple of times and recommend it to my friends. Sometimes Orbitz takes forever....

Yeah they are both great travel websites, but I found the best deals on priceline.com

I have used both, but prefer Cheaptickets. I have been using bookingbuddy.com, cheapair.com, and kayak.com recently though. i got last minute (day and a half) air to Miami from NY for $136.

i've looked at them all, and priceline has the best deals and the best service, no offense

Check out this site for Cheap Airline Tickets & Cheap Travel Deals:

Hope it helps!!!

Kayak is better.
