Travelling from DC to Las Vegas 12/30/06-01/02/07. Orbitz, etc is too high! How can I get the best airfare?

The reason rates are so high is because of your travel dates - fares are always higher around New Years. You may not have much luck in finding a cheap ticket.

Check the following websites: JetBlue.com and southwestair.com. These airlines may have the cheapest fares. Not sure if JetBlue flys from DC to Vegas but it's worth a check to see.

You running into the same problem i am right now. I am trying to fly from dfw to fat between the 23rd of dec and the 31st. Its called the peek holiday time and there putting it to the comsumers. Hers your best bet go to booking buddy you can search a bunch of sites without having to type you info in but one time and hopefully you can find a great deal out there. best of luck! also try jetblue they sometimes have great deals from dc to vegas! o and do not try priceline name your own price they won't take anything!
