Where can i find very cheap airfare tickets?

my friend is flying back home and she needs to buy a one way ticket but i just dont know how to find the cheapest airfare. i've tried travelocity, expedia, orbitz, hotwire, priceline, yahoo travel, other sites but i still cant find and thing. any suggestions on how to find cheap tickets? thank you so much for helping me out..

Try www.kayak.com it checks other websites too and gives you the least fare. Suggest also contact a local travel agent they would be in a position to waitlist you on a lower fare and get you a confirmation which is not possible on websites.

I went to priceline today (after searching all the other sites you listed) and placed a bid for two round trip tickets- for $396 total, including taxes, I'm flying over 2000 miles! If she doesn't have preference to time, place your bid!

Oh, something else- skybus.com has great rates, but limited cities.
