Does anyone know what reservation rewards is all about? I charged travel tickets on orbitz and when the bill?

there was a charge of 12 dollars to a company called reservation rewards. I called the company and was given a credit for the 12 dollars and cancelled the membership which I didn't even know about. My question is how did they get my credit card number unless Orbitz gave it to them?

Yes, sneaky people. Orbitz did not given your credit card number to them, you yourself may have given (unintentionally) it during your online purchase. It may have been a very easy to miss, fine print or a simple click before you 'accept the terms and conditions'. Thankfully, you were smart enough to notice the additional 12dollar charge. Had you not called them, your 12 dollars would have been theirs.
