Sorry to burst your bubble, but none of these online travel agents or airlines have your best interest. Sure they want to save you a little bit of money but they still make a killing on the over priced ticket they sell you.
Look get yourself a copy of a book I use to save a lot of money when I travel, I'm serious. Look I can go to Europe and buy a ticket from Paris to Milan for 4 days for as little as $35 round trip.
